From eco things.
Jump-start summer with a fun and unique event: eco things’ Make Your Own Notebook.
eco things specializes in eco-printed products, uses 100% recyclable materials, such as recycled paper, soy ink, and water-based glue, and strives to reduce its carbon footprint in every stage of the production process.
Make Your Own Notebook, the eco things launch activity, will be on Saturday, April 16, 2011, at The Rockwell Club. During the event, guests of all ages can create their very own eco-notebook from post-consumer recycled paper and recyclable materials.
It takes three simple steps to build a 100% eco-friendly notebook from eco things’ stations during the event. First, choose the notebook’s cover – yellow, green, orange, white, and more – it might be the most difficult choice you may have to make (but fun!). Then decide how thin or thick you want the notebook to be. Third, head to the last station where the eco things team will ring-bind your creation. 😀
Kids can definitely get creative! Creative Kids will facilitate a special art activity to personalize notebook covers using different art mediums and recycled items like buttons, bottle caps, used paper, and other materials.
Did you know that by using recycled materials, you save trees from being cut to make paper, and you do your share in conserving precious water and energy? What’s more, a portion of proceeds from all notebooks sold during the event will go to Greenpeace to support their work for a clean future.
eco things’ 100% recyclable planners, sketchpads, and notebooks are available at Fully Booked outlets, Scribe Writing Essentials, and the ECHOstore.
This event is by invitation only. For inquiries about eco things and this event, please contact Judy Malabanan at (02) 4804500.
P.S. Danvic Briones, my hubby, is part of eco things. He is their creative director and I am so proud of him and the eco things family. Congratulations Danvic, Yvonne, Judy and Doris!
