Within the Wealth Circle

Clouds Almost Touching Clouds

In October 2011, Bo Sanchez launched another initiative aimed at helping those financially motivated to become wealthier, and he called it Wealth Circle.

Of course I could not resist being part of it.  Turned out, not everyone could get in because there was an application process that consisted of about a 10-page questionnaire (or something that seemed that long) that quizzed one’s financial health, motivation, problems, overall outlook in life.  It was a tedious process, one that made me re-assess my life, and reflect on it, making me laugh and cry a little (it was gut-wrenching and soul-satisfying).

And so I got into the circle with hubby (there was an additional payment for him – but I knew if we were to do it together, we would be unstoppable – he had to be with me) and we got to know a lot of wonderful individuals.  All were financially able, but humble, and motivated.  Almost everyone were in business, or wanted to be in business, and were in the most interesting professions – sales people, insurance persons, people in the construction/training/supplies/broadcasting business.  Yes, there were a lot of motivated people in that function room in Shangri-la Edsa that day.  We sat through some talks, and of course Bo, as the host, was wonderful.

Most inspiring were the mentors.  We were initially with another group and then by some twist of faith (I call it telepathy – we called him to us), we were with Ronnie Siasoyco’s group, which adopted us (please see picture below – thanks, guys).

Ronnie is a self-made man if there was one.  At a young age, he realized that the sari-sari store right up the street was selling everything for a profit, and that he can duplicate it too. This is important – most people realize things but do not allow their minds to contemplate the possibility of the knowledge somehow benefiting them.  Not Ronnie.  He took the knowledge one step forward and stationed himself at a street corner and sold cigarettes and what-have-you at a profit.

He went on to college and to greater things.  From selling poles in the 1990’s, and losing millions sometime ago, he is now into several businesses (LED lights, among others) with income in the millions, and incubating 5-7-9 businesses at the same time, seeing if they are viable, and/or if the business can pay for itself/stand on its own.  At the same time, he is big on giving back and credits God for all of his successes.  Wonderful, wonderful man.  Here are some inspiring words from him: Ronnie speaking during the Wealth Circle 1 and 2.

During our last meeting/despedida/Christmas get-together with the group, Ronnie suggested that in lieu of gifts, we could just give a cash donation to the victims of typhoon Sendong.  And that, we did.  Wonderful, wonderful group.

We were sad to leave them and the Philippines, but good things do not need to come to an end.  We are still very much in touch with the group, with some of them helping us with our Rescue72 business (which, incidentally, we are also marketing in North America).

There is strength in numbers, and there could be really good things that a really good group can do.  The Wealth Circle is one.  Our inner group is one.   Because there is a greater power that binds us, that makes us capable of – yes – good things, great things.

Even miracles.
